The AZ Water Association selected the City of Chandler Airport Water Reclamation Facility Expansion to 15 MGD as the 2010 Wastewater Project of the Year.
Wilson Engineers has been proud to be the lead engineer for projects at the Airport Water Reclamation Facility since its initial construction in the late 1990’s. In addition to providing much needed wastewater treatment capacity, the expansion implemented an emerging treatment process selected to reduce O&M costs while protecting the quality of life for the community. The project was also recognized by the Arizona Public Works Project of the Year by the Arizona Chapter of the American Public Works Association.
