Jerry Juarez

Director of Surveying

With over 42 years of experience in the surveying industry, Jerry brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to Wilson Engineers, where he has served for nearly two years. As a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Nevada, Jerry has dedicated his career to advancing the profession and mentoring future generations of surveyors.

Jerry actively participates in professional organizations, serving as Trig-Star Chair since 2006 and holding the same position nationally with the National Society of Professional Surveyors since 2008. His dedication to education is clear through his work with the NALS Education Foundation, where he served as Director and Chair from 2019 to 2020. In recognition of his contributions, Jerry was inducted as an Honorary Member of the Surveying/Geomatics program at Great Basin College in 2019.

Surveying isn’t just my profession; it’s my passion. Every project is an opportunity to blend precision, problem-solving, and innovation to shape the world around us. After more than forty years, I still love the challenge and the impact this work has on communities. Being part of Wilson Engineers makes it even better; the collaborative culture and commitment to excellence foster an environment where great work thrives.

A Personal Note

When Jerry isn’t leading surveying projects, he loves to travel and explore new places. Passionate about mentoring the next generation of surveyors, he enjoys sharing his knowledge and helping others develop in the profession. And when it’s time to unwind, you’ll often find him on the golf course, working on his swing and enjoying the outdoors.
