Ryan Spreeman, PE
Senior Civil Engineer - Project Manager, Land Development
Ryan, a native of Northern Nevada, brings over 15 years of civil engineering expertise to Wilson Engineers. Holding both a degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA from the University of Nevada, Reno, he serves as a Senior Civil Engineer and Project Manager, providing innovative solutions for private development and public works projects.
His specialties include utility design for water and sewer systems, drainage systems, and open channels, supported by advanced modeling tools. Ryan’s skills include grading, erosion control, structural design of retaining walls, and floodplain development.
He has led major land development projects, skillfully navigating the increasingly complex planning and permitting process, and contributed to diverse sectors including mining, solid waste containment, airport facilities, and public infrastructure.
Finding and solving complex engineering problems that benefit my community is why I wanted to work in engineering. With the resources and support that Wilson Engineers provides, every project becomes an opportunity to grow, make a lasting impact, and serve the unique and expanding community my family and I call home.
A Personal Note
An avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast, Ryan enjoys exploring Lake Tahoe’s wilderness on scenic trails, often imagining ways to enhance trail design. Fluent in English and Spanish, he is currently learning Russian with the goal of becoming a polyglot. Outside of work, he and his wife enjoy trying new culinary experiences and are expecting their first child in April 2026.
