Cholla Steel Tanks Replacement Project
This project was part of the City of Phoenix's program to assess 41 steel tanks at 33 different sites based on their condition and to rehabilitate them. The program focused on maintaining the steel tanks' coating and structural integrity while enhancing water quality through upgrades to recirculation, mixing, and disinfection systems, ultimately providing improvements related to the sites. The tanks were categorized into near-term, mid-term, and long-term groups and were included in the program's Preventive Maintenance Schedule for inspection, assessment, design, and rehabilitation activities.
