City of Phoenix, AZ
Lift Station No. 77 and Dual Force Main
Wilson provided services for the City of Phoenix's Northwest Area Wastewater project. The project's design and construction management were divided into two phases, with the first phase including a new 44-MGD Lift Station No. 77, 2 miles of dual 24” diameter high-density polyethylene (HDPE) force mains, and 3 miles of gravity sewer lines with diameters of 66, 54, 48, and 36”. The detailed design and construction management for Phase Two included an additional 2 miles of 24” dual HDPE force mains and an extra 3.5 miles of a 36” diameter gravity sewer line. Post-design and construction management services included a guaranteed maximum price (GMP), a critical path method (CPM) schedule, payment applications, and reviews of requests for information (RFIs), as well as progress meetings, field inspections, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) management.
