Wilson provided construction management services for the planned downtown streetscape improvements on Mill Avenue during the project’s construction phase. The construction of the intersection improvements involved installing traffic signals, lighting, pavement markings and signage, landscaping, providing irrigation, constructing pedestrian ramps to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), milling and replacing asphaltic concrete pavement with asphaltic concrete rubber pavement, building curb and gutter, sidewalks, retaining walls, business signs, storm drains, and catch basins. Additional services provided included guaranteed maximum price (GMP) schedules and payment application reviews, facilitation of weekly progress meetings, management of submittals and requests for information (RFIs), quality control, on-site and special inspections, Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) environmental inspections and reporting, as well as coordination with City departments, stakeholders, and downtown merchants.
