Sun City Festival Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Master Plan Update

Wilson updated the master plans for Pulte Homes’ Sun City Festival (SCF) water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems in northern Buckeye. SCF is a 4,000-acre master-planned community part of a larger active adult and single-family development. Due to its size and remote location, SCF must have its own standalone water, wastewater, and reclaimed water solutions. The original infrastructure master planning effort began in 2009 and was recently updated to include: changes to land use, population, demand and flow projections; refinement of potable water and wastewater infrastructure and facility requirements; updates to the water distribution system, reclaimed water distribution system, and wastewater collection system hydraulic models; and enhancements to connectivity with adjacent development.
Relevant Project Features:
-
Prescribed storage and pumping requirements and identified conceptual site layouts per City of Buckeye design standards.
-
Recommended water transmission, distribution, and wastewater collection system pipe sizes.
