Deer Valley Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Rehabilitation

Wilson Engineers upgraded critical systems to improve water quality and operational reliability

Wilson completed an assessment and detailed design for the rehabilitation of the Deer Valley WTP. Phase one involved collecting asset information and conducting field assessments, while coordinating with plant staff to assess equipment condition and reliability, in order to establish rehabilitation priorities. Wilson collaborated with the City’s WAM team to apply the City’s CRV-Model to the project recommendations. The design phase included improvements to the existing facilities as defined by the asset condition team. 

Relevant Project Features

  • Asset assessment of the City’s existing water treatment plant, including understanding and use of the City’s Asset Management CRV-Model. 

  • Rehabilitation of Sand Ballasted Flocculation (SBF) process, chemical feed facilities, and solids handling facilities.
