City of Phoenix Highline Booster Pump Station (BPS) Replacement

Wilson evaluated several alternatives for relocating and replacing the existing 3SEB1 and the 2S-B3 BPS Highline. The project provided detailed design and construction administration services for the replacement effort, including a new 44 MGD BPS consisting of seven constant speed vertical turbine pumps installed in pump cans, a new 20 MGD pressure-reducing valve (PRV) facility, a new 10,000-gallon surge tank, a concrete suction valve vault, new 4,160V electrical service feed from Salt River Project (SRP), new electrical gear, and 2-MW generator.
