Senior Marketing Coordinator/Specialist

Wilson Engineers has an exciting opportunity for a full-time, experienced Sr. Marketing Coordinator/Specialist. Our perfect candidate will have a minimum of 3 years prior marketing experience working for an engineering, architecture, or construction company.

 

This position requires 40 hours/week in our Tempe office and is responsible for leading our marketing and proposal efforts, maintaining our social media platforms to support our marketing and branding strategies. We are seeking candidates who possess above average technical, design, communication, and organizational skills and can manage our proposal process.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Proposals, SOQ, Presentations (75%)

  • Lead all aspects of proposal and SOQ preparation and delivery including the development and collection of standard materials, writing, graphics, document editing, content review, printing, and final document assembly and/or electronic submittal

  • Work with Engineers and Project Managers and coordinate responses between relevant internal departments to develop message and content for proposals

  • Complete technical tasks such as creating graphics, outlines, designing graphic layout templates, proofreading, preparing review drafts and final editions

  • Oversee all marketing activities

 

Marketing Promotions, Social Media, Website (25%)

  • Lead in the production of marketing presentations

  • Maintain all social media platforms including company website

  • Develop communications campaign calendar with ideas for e-mail blasts: project news, employee promotions, thought leadership, trade show conferences. Write and assist with developing message and content

  • Manage targeted mailing lists for digital and print distribution utilizing support staff

  • Order marketing materials

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in engineering, construction, architecture, or similar industry

  • Must have above average experience with executing competitive RFP/RFQ proposals

  • Above-average to expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator

  • Above-average proficiency in PowerPoint and Word

  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Have a passion for creating high-quality finished products

  • Creative thinker/problem-solver

  • Works well under pressure to meet deadlines

Power System Analyst

Wilson Engineers is seeking a Power System Analyst full time position with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

  • Gather field data for creation/revision of power system study models.

  • Create new and modify existing electrical distribution systems in SKM and perform power system calculations and studies, including short circuit analysis, equipment evaluation, equipment coordination, and arc flash evaluation.

  • Generate power system studies and reports.

Education and Certifications:

  • Proficient with data gathering and modeling of electrical system in SKM Analysis software for power system studies a must.

  • Proficient and experienced in creating SKM power system models, power system studies, and reports.

  • Certificates from completing SKM-provided training classes is a plus.

Skills Required:

  • Strong ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision and report on activities to Project Manager on a regular and consistent basis.

  • Experience in the water/wastewater industry is a plus.

  • Good working knowledge of NFPA 70E.

Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer/Designer

Wilson Engineers is seeking a Senior Electrical and Controls Engineers/Designer, for a full time position with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing low voltage power distribution systems and lighting systems, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, power plans, lighting plans, control schematics, block diagrams, and installation details.

  • Completing engineering calculations, including load summaries, breaker sizes, conduit and wire sizing, voltage drop, and fault current.

  • Working with construction administration, field inspection, start-up and commissioning.

Education and Certifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering required for Electrical Engineer position.

  • PE license in Arizona preferred for Engineer position, or undergraduate degree in electrical engineering preferred for Electrical Designer position.

Skills Required:

  • Thorough understanding of the NFPA 70E National Electrical Code.

  • Strong ability to work independently and efficiently on small to medium electrical and control system design projects.

  • Ability to read and understand P&IDs and control descriptions.
     

Additional Skills Preferred for Designer and Required for Engineer:​

  • Proficient in the design of medium voltage power distribution systems and lighting systems.

  • Experience reviewing and interpreting power system studies.  Experience modeling electrical distribution systems with SKM software a plus.

  • Thorough knowledge of NFPA 101 and NFPA 820.

  • Proficient in the design of P&IDs and communication network architectures.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Experience:

  • Working knowledge of National Electrical Codes NFPA 70E.

  • Minimum of five (5) years electrical and industrial controls engineering experience in Water/Wastewater industry.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience producing EI&C Contract Drawing packages in AutoCAD.
